Wax & Aftercare
Wax
Hot and Strip wax are widely utilised in beauty treatments for hair removal. The process involves heating the wax, applying it to the skin in the direction of hair growth, and then swiftly removing it using either the edge of the hot wax or a paper strip for soft wax, effectively extracting the hair from the root. Both wax types are used to ensure an optimal waxing experience.
Ingrown Therapy
The ingrown hair therapy is a concentrated lotion designed to prevent ingrown hairs and minimise skin inflammation. It does this by alleviating the discomfort associated with waxing. Additionally, it helps maintain smoother skin post-waxing.
By using it twice daily, it further prevents and reduces the likeliness of getting ingrown hairs.
Recommendations
Following waxing, it is vital to adhere to proper aftercare to soothe the skin and minimise irritation. Applying a cool compress can effectively reduce redness and swelling. It is advisable to avoid hot showers, saunas, and intense exercise for at least 24 hours. Using a fragrance free moisturiser will help maintain skin hydration post waxing treatment.
